IMPOSSIBLE MADE REALITY!!

Impossible made reality!
Verse for Today: Tuesday, December 04, 2012
2 Kings 7:1 – Hear the Word of the Lord. This is what the Lord says: About this time tomorrow, a seah of flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.

The things that God promises and does in this world and in the lives of His children seem impossible and unbelievable. God’s mighty works are illogical to human minds. What He does is amazing and how He accomplishes it is even more astonishing. Many times, even God’s children find it difficult to believe what God says because it seems absolutely impossible to reason and prevailing technology. The people of Noah’s time found it impossible to believe that there would be a flood. Even today the scientific community cannot figure out how the Sun would stop for a few hours as it was during Joshua’s times. Our engineers are fascinated as to how a city wall could be rebuilt without modern engineering and technology within fifty two days. The war technology is fascinated about the way an army of three hundred would destroy a large and powerful army without arms. How would a teen kill a giant without weaponry is unimaginable. How can someone dip in a muddy river seven times and get his leprosy cured? How would a large fish be the abode for a man for three days? At the peak of famine, how would food get sold at throwaway price? Yet all these have been possible by the Almighty at His Word. He influences our situations to turn the impossible into reality. He would move the hearts of people and maneuver the elements to accomplish His purpose and it becomes marvelous in our eyes. When it is impossible, He causes it to rain or to divide the sea. He brings water from the rock and makes Mara sweet. He heals the chronically or acutely ill at split second. He knows our needs and urgency and interferes in our situations to meet our needs at His measure. Today He wants us to trust Him whether we see Him act or delay.

Dear friend, are you facing an impossible situation today and are you desperately in need? Are you at your wits end without seeing a way out of your present predicament? Are all the doors in front of you shut firmly? But the windows of heaven are not shut. The compassionate eyes of our Father see us and our needs. He knows our desperate situations and our crumbling finances. He knows our physical weaknesses and emotional paralysis. He understands the emotional and spiritual burdens we carry and works behind the scene to meet it. Tonight there might not be any indication about the flour and the grins which He will bring to us tomorrow. As we go to sleep, with burdened hearts and filled eyes, our Father doesn’t sleep or slumber, but works for us. He sets our situations in such a way that our needs are met in unbelievable ways and means as we wake up the next morning. He prepares for the healing of our bodies and souls. He works to give us the means to meet our physical needs of food, clothing and shelter. He carries our burdens and gives us the much needed rest and peace in our situations. He shows us the way forward when we are faced with obstructions and hindrances. He sends His bright light on our dark pathways. He brings in resources from unknown sources in our banquet halls, valleys and deserts. Yes, our Lord is active while we wait for Him and His time to come. Today He reassures us at the historic gate of Samaria that He will meet our challenges in the most amazing manner. He lives for us today and makes us live with Him. He meets our needs in His royal way and makes us His great miracles and amazing witnesses. Let us expect the impossible from our God today and live by faith.

Psalms 27:13 – I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Thought for Today
The mighty power of our God turns our impossibilities into living realities.
